With this certificate, you compensate for the average annual CO2 consumption of a German of 11 tonnes. For this purpose, 1.83 tons of water hyacinths were harvested in Lagos by Peter Bassey and his team, dried and converted into 36.7 kg of water hyacinth biochar, which was then introduced into the soil at a farmer’s site.
